Lymphatic Drainage

Why lymphatic drainage feels so calming

September 21, 2026 · 3 min read · By Kanwal Gill, Certified Technician & Instructor

Gentle on purpose

Lymphatic drainage uses slow, light, rhythmic movements. If you're expecting deep pressure, this will surprise you: the pressure is very light, almost weightless. It doesn't hurt — that's the point.

Many clients find it deeply relaxing, and some describe the afterwards feeling as lighter and less puffy.

What a session is like

The rhythm is slow and calming, and you'll have focused, one-on-one attention the whole way through. Wear something comfortable — that's the only preparation really needed.

Afterwards, the main aftercare is simple: drink water before and after your appointment.

Who it suits

It's a soothing experience on its own, and it pairs nicely with facial treatments if you'd like to make an appointment of it. If you're not sure whether it's for you, ask when you call — we'll talk it through.
